Fluorescent Nails

Hi everyone!
Just to let you know why I haven't posted in few days, I've been busy cleaning out the garage.  But I manage to do a few mani's done in between.  For this mani I used foil tape to create the fluorescent look.  First I polish my nails with three different neon colors in diagonal, horizontal, etc... then I polish my entire nails in black, took off the foil tape and this is the fluorescent look!  I love it!!  I just hate to clean up after using a black, red and navy blue polish.  Unless you use the foil wrap method.  What do you think of the fluorescent look?  Thanks for stopping by, until next polish!
This is what it looks with out the black

May's Copy Cat Mani

Good evening Ladies,

Well it's that time again, like I said last month that I would be doing a copy cat each month from fellow bloggers I follow.  For the month of May,  I decided to copy Yamileth from Yamiidoesnails.  Like I mention on a previous post that my favorite color is red, although I don't wear it often.  When I saw this mani I knew I had to do a replica of it.  You should check out Yamiidoesnail blog, she has beautiful designs!!!  This is her creation.

This is my version!!  Thanks for stopping by, until next post!

Splatter nails

Good evening,

I have a splatter nail design for you this Tuesday evening.  For this mani I used a coffee straw to design the splatter.  I used a different base color for each of my nails and used opposite colors to do the splatter look.   Some nails came out ok and the others not so good.  Which one do you like?  You can create this look by dipping the coffee straw onto nail polish then blowing into the straw.  But, you can also create the look of nail splatter by using BM 202.  Either one is different and unique.  Well, this is it for tonight thanks for stopping by until next post!

Items used
China Glaze: Sunshine pop, Dance baby, Electric beat, Sweet hook

Water Marble

Good afternoon,

So I did another water marble, and this time I succeed! Yay!!, It is still a messy job, although I used tape.  I love the color combination, I will practice on tips so that I can do more colorful water marbling and do them on my own nails.  Remember practice makes perfect!!!  For this mani I used clear base and then I added Whimsical.  Once that was dried I did the water marble, this is why you can see some dots on the pic's it is not water bubbles.  You can actually see the sparkles from Whimsical under the water marbling.  What do you think?  I love it!!

Items used

Sally Hansen: Maximum growth
Revlon: Whimsical as base coat
China Glaze: For Audrey

Real Women Conference 2012

Good morning Beautiful!!

So I was in a women conference Thursday evening and all day Friday.  Marilyn Skinner was our first speaker of the evening and we also had spunky Andi Andrew from New York City.  The best part was having CeCe Winans singing, yes CeCe Winans the famous 8 times Grammy winner and including Stellar Awards!!  What a voice, and when she sings gospel, all deaf ears can hear.   What an experience this conference was.  So I invite all those readers in Southern California to joy us next year for "Beautiful" Real Women Conference July 18-19 twenty 13.   At Cottonwood Church Los Alamitos.    On to NOTD...
I have a simple mani, I am going to start doing swatches because I have so many polishes that I have not used.  So by swatching I will be able to use more of them.  What do you think about this simple blue with glitter?  Thanks for stopping by, until next post!!

"Happy Mother's Day"

Good morning,

"Happy Mother's Day" to all you mother's out there!  My mani for this mother's day is like the Napoleon mani with the exception of neon orange.  I wanted to wear something pinkish but I really don't have pink.  I have two pink sweaters, no tops/blouses that are pink.  But for some reason I am starting to like pink a lot.  In the pic's you will be able to see the color of the dress I am wearing and the colors of my mani.  I hope you like this mani, and I hope you enjoy your Mother's day, may the Lord Bless you always.... Thanks for stopping by, until next post!

Napoleon Nails

Good evening,

I wanted to do a mani for Mother's day, instead I decided to do one tonight and celebrate it for all those that speak Spanish.  As you may know in many Spanish speaking countries, Mother's day is celebrated on May 10th regardless of the day of the week.  So I had a mix color bouquet of tulips delivered to my mother today.  And I will also celebrate it again on Sunday.  So for all you, Spanish speaking mother's "FELIZ DIA DE LAS MADRES"  Back to NOTD, I was inspired by a dress my co-worker had on yesterday.  It was pink, white, grey and dark grey.  So I decided to call my mani, Napoleon because when you see the dark color it looks like a light brown.  What do you think?  Do you like the design?  Thanks for stopping by, until next post!!

Neon Trio

Good morning,

This Wednesday, I have a Neon Trio with bundle monster stamping, glitter and pearl stones.  What a combination right!   Well,  when I imagine this in my mind it looked great!  Once I added the stamping it seemed not so right, so I added the glitter and still not so right.  Then I added the pearl stones and it kinda look a little better.  But I am not convince, its a fail nail design!  Although it looks different, I like it and I don't.  Is that weird or what?  What do you think?  Thanks for stopping by, until next post!!  Have a great day :D

Grey snakeskin

Good evening,

So we watched "The Avengers", not all that, but my husband really liked it, go figure.  First, because I don't like Iron man.  I like the Incredible hawk, Captain America and the others.  Iron man is so cocky, I didn't even like Iron man when it came out the first time, trust me I fell asleep when I went to watch it and I sure didn't see the second one.  Anyway, back to NOTD.  I have a simple grey with a snakeskin stamped design.  You can berely see it,  I really didn't have much time to do more.  Thanks for stopping by, until next post!!

Good evening,

For this Wednesday evening, I have a Chocolate Dip nail design.  I just love this color from Essie.  At first I didn't know what to call this mani, but my husband said it looked like I dip my nails in chocolate.  So I thought, that's what I will call it.  I also did a simple mani with Essie: Sand Tropez and changed it a little by adding a water marble on the ring finger and thumb.  Which of the two you like best?     Thanks for stopping by, until next post!!
