31 DC2012: Day30, Tutorial
Hello dear readers/visitors!
Today's design is inspired by a tutorial, there are so many nail artist that I love and follow. But I've been wanting to do a similar pattern that Bregie from Oooh Shinies have design. She has many nail art, so make sure you go over to her blog and check them out. I bought many polishes that she mentions in her blog instead of using konad special polish. I created a matte with a metalic design using an image plate. Although it's not the same color and pattern it's the same concept. Thanks for stopping by until next post!

31 DC2012: Day 28 A Flag
Hello dear readers/visitors!
I am sorry for the late post, this should had been posted yesterday, but I was super busy and forgot to post. I was doing/making a nail rack and in the middle of gluing the stick/board it was getting dried before I had a chance to place the boards down, so I had to stop and go to Michael's and get a bigger glue gun. When I completed placing the small boards onto the big board my husband did not like how it looked. When it comes to DIY my husband is a perfectionist, so he said he would build it for me and make it even and smooth. So he is going to sand it down to the correct measurements. Although he was helping me he still didn't like that a few board were a little off. Any way here is my challenge, a flag. I decided to do a flag for each finger instead of one flag on all fingers. 31 DC2012: Day 27, Artwork
Hello dear reader/visitors!
Today's theme is Artwork, I did not choose an artist, I just went my impulse. I really like the outcome of my design. I just did big, medium and small dots on dots and added a tiny dot across each nail just to spunk it up a little. For this design I used a lip liner cap to make the big dots and use the polish brush to made the medium size and a regular dotting tool to make the small dots and for the tiny ones I used the smaller dotting tool. 31 DC2012: Day 25, Fashion
Hello dear readers/visitors
Today's challenge is Fashion, and I got my inspiration from an advertisement from JCPenney MOD World. I saw this dress and I immediately knew I had to create the design and this is what I came up with. For this design I used Wet n Wild: Black, I used a white striper to create the white line and added black dots to create the buttons. On the bottom half I sponged it with white to create the white and black mix and added Sinful Color: Rise and Shine. I am very happy with the outcome! Hope you like it. 31 DC2012: Day24, A book
Good evening dear readers/visitors!
Today's challenge is an inpiration of a book. I selected Diary of a Wimpy Kid. It was a simple mani to create, but the only problem I had was drawing the character on my ring finger. I must have change the drawing about 5 to 8 times. Until I finally said...this is it, however it comes out. So here it is...

It is simple, I had so many ideas but my husband started painting my nail room and I was limited to something fast and easy. This is what I came up with. 31 DC2012: Day22, A Song
Hello dear readers/visitors!
Today's challenge for day 22 is a song, so I was going in circles trying to find something that would inspire me to create a design, when I heard Carly Rae singing Call me, Maybe and that is when I thought about a phone. Good thing it was an easy creation because I am not good at drawing at All.
I think it came out pretty cool, don't you? For my base I used Sinful Color: Pink Forever and added F4 Polish: Pink Penguin. On my ring finger and thumb I used black for the phone and added white and grey. Thanks for stopping by, until next post!

31 DC2012: Day21, A Color
Hello readers/visitors!
Today's theme challenge is A Color, and I think it can be any color or colors. There is no rule in particular just a color. For this challenge I decided to use Sinful Colors and I used Kissy for my base, the color is an emerald with blue shimmer and the side color I used is Rise and Shine. I also added two different dot sizes with white so the color combination would POP! I absolutely love the color combination and the outcome of my design. 31 DC2012: Day 20, Marble nails
Hello dear readers/visitors!
For today's challenge we have marble nails. I've done a couple of marble designs, but I have not been able to master this technique. I have seen various ways and I still don't get that beautiful flower affect. Either my colors don't spread out, or the water temperature is not right or it all runs together when it's on the nail, it's just a fail nail. Well here is my marble design, hope you like it. 31 DC 2012: Day 19, Galaxies
The theme for today is galaxy nails and I've seen so many galaxy nail art done that I thought it was going to be a difficult task to do, I went on YouTube and found an easy galaxy to do. So instead of using black as the base I decided to use Essie: Midnight Blue as my base, I like black but I really don't like to work with it because when I do my cleaning it seems to always bleed around my cuticles. I sponged on yellow and purple then I added the white with a toothpick and use Sephora gold glitter. I am very pleased how my galaxies turn out! Thanks for stopping by, until tomorrow.

31 DC 2012: Day 16, Tribal
Hello dear readers/visitors!
Happy Sunday, for today's challenge I present to you Tribal print. At first I thought this was going to be a complicated design, but I was able to execute it with no problem. First I used NYC: Lexington Yellow as my base, then I did vertical stripes with different color strippers and I used Mash42 to create the diamond shapes with special black. Hello dear readers/visitors!
Day 15 challenge is Delicate print, delicate can be anything from lace, swirls, stripes etc... so I decided to use a stamping design. I did my base color with OPI: Don't Pretzel My Buttons from the Germany Collection. The color is delicate to me, I love it! And I used BM 201 to create the print. What do you think about this design? 31 DC 2012: Day 13, Animal Print
Good evening dear readers/visitors!
For day 13 of the 31 day challenge I have a simple animal print, giraffe. I didn't want to do the background in a Tan version because I will be attending a Funeral tomorrow and I didn't want my nails to be a distraction. So I did my mani modify than the original version. For day 10 of 31 day challenge the theme is Gradient nails. I've done gradient nail designs lately and I am getting better at doing them. The colors I used for this gradient are Sally Hansen: Yellow Mellow as my base and Elf:Mysterious purple with Sally Hansen: Bubblegum Pink and to finish off my creation I added BM304 with special black. Today's challenge is rainbow nails, but since I had already posted rainbow strips and rainbow dots, I had no choice but to do a colorful design with CH 16. Today is day 08 of the 31 day challenge 2012 and the theme is metallic nails. I wasn't sure if I should have used the magnetic polish or a metallic one. But since I have the Color Club Foil Collection, I decided to use one of those colors and I chose the green and I decided to add a stamp with yellow and black special polish. I did the Peter Pan collar, I thought It was going to be easy, but it was not so, Oh well maybe next attempt I can execute it. For my base I used Essense on the go: A lovely secret and for the design I used Sinful Colors: Amethyst and OPI: Pirate of the Caribbean collection (purple). For day 05 challenge we have blue nails. Since I kept it simple, it is time to do abstract and geometric. For this nail art design, I used Finger Paints:Blissfully Blue as my base and Orly: Sweet Peacock and Silver glitter stripper for the rest of the design. I really want to get into creating a design that is dramatic or ikat. I don't know how to draw so that it out of the picture. Since I am left with little time to create a design and wait for it to dry, my wow creations will have to wait for the weekend. Hope you like it, tomorrows color: Violet. Today's nail art is simple, I like the little extra on the top instead of the tips. I wanted to change it a little. I started with a base of Nubar yellow and added the pink with BM217. I don't know how I am going to do day 04 since I work full time and get home after 5:30 pm. My nail art will be late in the evening. See you tomorrow thanks for stopping by, until next post!

Today is day 02 of the 31 day challenge 2012 and the color is orange! I started with Sinful Colors Hazard.
