Stubby Cupcake nails

Hello dear readers/visitors!!

I tried to save my long nails, but as you have seen in a previous post (nakes nails). I had a split/crack on two of my left nails and one on my right.  I used the Orly Rescue kit, but that only worked if I didn't changed my polish.  So I had to cut them down and now you can see my stubby nails.  So I decided to do the cupcake design.  Perfect for short nails.  Hope you like it,  thanks for stopping by until next post.



July's Copy Cat mani

I almost forgot to do my monthly copy cat.  Today I came across I'm Feeling Nail Venturous blog, and as soon as I saw this mani, I knew I had to do a copy cat.  That is when I realized that the month is almost over and I had not re-created a mani from a favorite blogger.  Since I don't have the name brands she used I had to improvise with the colors that I own.  This is her creation......

For this mani, I have a beautiful pink!  But like always; I need to add something.  Why can't I just do swatches without adding something!!  I love that extra touch!  Or maybe like that extra bling/flashy look.  I promise to do more swatches since I have so many polishes that I have not used.  I started to like Pink more and more .  Maybe I will join Pink on Wednesdays.

Sinful Colors on Sale Again!

Hello dear readers/visitors!

Just a quick note, Sinful Colors are on sale again at Walgreen!  If you are obsessed with nail polish like I am, you will head towards Walgreen.  They are 99 cents, I just came from buying 13 bottles.  My local Walgreen's did not have the ones I really need, like... Star fish, Verbera and Open Sea.  These are dups from  OPI POTC collection.  This means I will have to visit other Walgreen's to see if they carry what I am looking for.  That's all folks, thanks for stopping by until next post!!

OPI DS Opulence

I am obsessed with OPI DS collection, I been slowly collecting them, although I will not collect them all.  For the most part I've collected the ones I really wanted and that is....Opulence, Signature, Extravagance, Sapphire, Coronation, Jewels, Reflection, Glow, Reserve and Mystery.  I have posted swatches of Signature, Extravagance and Opulence.  I plan on doing more swatches in future posts.  This is my collection

Naked nails

Good afternoon dear readers/visitors

I wanted to show you what my nails look like without polish.  As you can see I have a split on my index and middle finger.  I have to repair it everytime I change my polish, I use a tea bag piece with nail glue and then I buff it until its smooth.  I read on a blog that there is a repair kit at Sally's that is strong and it's callled Orly nail rescue.  Have you heard of it or tried it?  I have not had the change to go get it, but I must have it ASAP.   What do you thing of my naked nails?  I couldn't stand to see them naked that I had to polish my daughter's nails.  I did polish my nails after all.

Summer Colors

I have a Summer Colors nail design, I added polka dots and glitter to the five or six colors that I used.  My vision looked alot better than what the outcome is,  but I guess it still looks good.  I will have to do another version without the polka dots and use a stamp over it.  Until then...that's all folks.  Thanks for stopping by!

Plastic Wrap design

I've seen so many plastic wrap design nails on the internet and I found an easy one on YouTube by packapunchpolish.  So I did my first one and I liked it so much that I did another one.  I also, changed it a little by using BM 316 plate on one of the designs.  Which one is your fav?  Thanks for stopping by, until next post!

OPI DS Reserve

Good evening dear readers/visitors!

We got back into Cali on Saturday night, it felt like a 8 hr flight.  We got our plane at 2:30 pm Hawaii time and got in at 11:00 pm Cali time so it was a long ride.  My husband is glad to be back and is ready to go to work tomorrow, me in the other hand don't start work until Tuesday.  The previous post shows you a few pictures that I took with my IPhone.  I don't like to take pictures or carry a camera so there is not many pictures to show.  On to NOTD...I have this gorgeous polish from the OPI DS collection that I had waiting for me. That's all folks, thanks for stopping by until next post!! Hawaii Vacation

Good afternoon dear readers/visitors

I am happy to show you a few scenes from Hawaii.  We flew in on Saturday, July 7, 2012 to Oahu, Waikiki.  The reason for our 3 day stay at Waikiki was to visit Pearl Harbor.  The first time I visited Oahu was 15 years ago.  I also visited Pearl Harbor, the Kodak show, Germaine's Luau, Hilo stores, Divers reef and did my first time share orientation.  Last year, my husband and I visited Hawaii on a Cruise in March and was unable to visit Pearl Harbor.  This is why we came back to Hawaii, with the exception of staying more days in Maui to get away from the busy city.  We will be celebrating our anniversary on July 11th.

OPI DS Extravagance

Good morning dear readers/visitors!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July!
Today I have a simple but beautiful swatch of OPI DS.  Normally I would add a design or something but it is sooooooo beautiful by itself that I am going to wear it alone.  I am happy to say that we are not going to be doing our Insanity workout in Hawaii!!   We are just going to have to pick up our 6th week when we get back.
OMG! that is going to be torture, because it's a very hard workout and by slacking off for a week I know its going to feel like the first time again.  Anyway,  I'll deal with it when we return.  That's all folk, thanks for stopping by until next post!

Independence Mani

Finally, after working all day and working out with Insanity, I was able to do my 4th of July mani.  I love it, it is simple but its so cute!  Although it's cute I will take it off by Wednesday.  What are your plans for this Independence day?  I am happy to say that this weekend my husband and I will be celebrating our anniversary in Hawaii.  So I am not sure if I want to carry nail polish, laptop etc... to keep up with my blogging.  One thing for sure, we are still going to be doing our Insanity workout. :(

Geometric Happy go Lucky

Good afternoon dear readers/visitors!

For this Sunday's mani, I decided to use my Happy go Lucky polishes.  I believe I've only used them once before and this time I wanted to used them all with a geometric design.  As you can see each finger nail is done different; no two are alike, it may have one of the colors repeated by none are exactly the same. I have so many ideas and designs that I want to share with you, but I really don't have the time to do them.  I am planning on doing one for the 4th of July this evening.  Hopefully I can post it tomorrow, we only have a few more days left before the 4th of July.  Thanks for stopping by, until next polish!
